Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Fabricators to join our team. This role involves manufacturing uPVC windows, doors, and related products while also supporting our stores department. The ideal candidates will have hands-on fabrication experience or the willingness to learn, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

Fabrication Duties:

  • Cut, assemble, and weld uPVC profiles to produce windows, doors, and associated products based on technical drawings and specifications.
  • Operate and maintain machinery, including saws, welders, drills, corner cleaners, and CNC equipment.
  • Install glass, hardware, seals, and accessories to exact standards.
  • Inspect products at all stages of production to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and correct any defects or errors in fabrication.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines within the production area.

Stores Duties:

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials and components required for fabrication.
  • Perform regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist in organising and maintaining a clean, efficient stores area.
  • Prepare and issue components and tools to the production team as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or within a manufacturing environment (uPVC fabrication preferred).
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, fabrication machinery, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials safely.

Desirable:

  • Experience with CNC machinery or automated tools.
  • Knowledge of uPVC window and door systems.
  • Forklift license or willingness to undergo training.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (training provided).
