The under 13 and under 17 sides made the trip to Maastricht during the Easter weekend 10 – 13th april 2009 for one of the most highly regarded youth tournaments in the world.
Clach were represented at the competition for the first time last year, but this was a European debut for those at under 13 level. they were far from disgraced finishing sixth in their section rankings, having come up against sides from Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and the host Country.
They were the only under 13 team from Great Britain and both teams thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were a credit to Club and Country.
