1990
Original Caithness Cottage Launched
Introduced the original Caithness Cottage and started manufacturing timber frame kits. Also started manufacturing sliding mirror doors and internal door sets.
1991
Full Range of Kit Designs Launched
Introduced full range of timber frame house designs under ‘Highland Cottage’, ‘Town House’ & ‘Architectural’ banners.
These are now included in our Classic Homes range.
1992
We opened our first showroom in Inverness!
Opened showroom in Canal Road, Inverness, just after the May UK general election.
Callum Grant joined as Commercial Director.
We acquired 2 acres for future expansion in Bower.
1993
New lorry purchased
Purchased new lorry to deliver own goods and provide transport service for others. Also started manufacturing the ‘steelwood’ composite door.
1994
Phase 2: Bower Re-development
Completed phase 2 re-development of Bower Workshops adding a further 12,500 sq ft of factory floor space. Also started manufacturing window blinds.
1995
We moved to Carse Industrial Estate
Moved Inverness Showroom to purpose built premises on Carse Industrial Estate.
1996
ISO Qualification Achieved
Secured ISO 9000 QA Accreditation.
1998
Investors in People Accreditation
Secured Investor in People accreditation. Started manufacturing the ‘Alarbond’ timber clad aluminium window system.
