Mark Scott and Ann Macdermid embarked on a remarkable journey to transform Ann’s family home on the Isle of Scalpay, Harris. The initial plan was to restore the old house, but after assessing the costs and realising that the layout wouldn’t meet their needs, the couple decided to demolish and build a new home.
