The Heath is a 4-bedroom timber frame kit home offering 129.8m² of accommodation within a 9.0m frontage. Its design includes a dedicated sunroom and uses larger areas of glazing on the south-facing elevation, with smaller window openings to the north.
South and North-Facing Glazing
Window size and orientation form an important part of the Heath design.
Larger areas of glazing are positioned on the south-facing side of the house to increase the amount of natural light entering the accommodation, while smaller window openings are used on the northern elevation.
This makes orientation an important consideration when positioning the Heath on an individual self-build plot.
Dedicated Sunroom
A separate sunroom provides an additional living space alongside the main lounge.
Its glazing gives this room a different relationship with the outside of the house and distinguishes it from the other principal ground-floor rooms.
Separate Lounge, Dining and Kitchen
Alongside the sunroom, the ground floor provides a separate lounge, dedicated dining room and kitchen rather than combining the principal living accommodation into one open-plan space.
A bathroom is also located on the ground floor.
Study or Additional Bedroom
