Bower Primary School pupils and members of staff were able to enjoy a visit to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds’ National Nature Reserve at Forsinard recently thanks to the generosity of two local businessess, namely Norscot Joinery and Nicolson Engineering. We were recently invited to participate in the Sponsor Day at Thurso Golf Club. Although we didn’t win the fab-looking trophy (🙁) it was a lovely day out with fabulous hospitality & it was great to meet the other sponsors.  

Throughout November, some brave team members pledged to walk or run 60km to raise much-needed funds for our Charity of the Year – Mikeysline. That’s 60km for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour across the world. In total, we managed to clock up 420kms & raised £190 with match funding

Throughout December Team Norscot has been getting into the Christmas spirit by taking part in various charity activities. For the first two weeks in December, we collected donations towards the Caithness Toy Appeal. It was a great success and we are delighted to have played a part in helping vulnerable local children and teenagers find
